When words aren’t enough, let art be your voice

Transform your emotions into art and discover clarity in every brushstroke

No pressure, no judgment—just colour, emotions, and a journey that’s uniquely yours.

Hey, can I ask you something real quick?

💪 Build resilience and boost self-esteem while nurturing emotional well-being

🌈 Tap into your creativity and discover new ways to express yourself

🧘 Work through big emotions and find moments of peace and clarity

🔮Reconnect with your inner self and explore healthier ways to cope and regulate your nervous system.

Oh, and don’t forget—it’s fun, too!

No art experience needed—just a willingness to explore.

How It Works

Art therapy that comes to you—right here on the beautiful Gold Coast of Australia

No need to travel, rearrange your day, or sit in a clinical space. With our art therapy services, you can experience the transformative power of creativity from the comfort of your own home.

Art therapy isn’t just about making art—it’s about making space.

Space to feel. To release. To reconnect.

Whether you’re navigating stress, trauma, or simply the emotional weight of everyday life, this gentle, creative approach helps you care for yourself on a deeper level.

Here’s what you can expect:

🖌️ Every session meets you right where you’re at. We’ll explore the parts of you that feel a little stuck or tender, and offer the care they need—whether that’s emotional release, nervous system support, or simple self-care tools to help you feel more like yourself.

🎨 You’ll be guided through expressive activities that invite clarity, calm, and emotional release.

💖 And sometimes, the simplest act—picking up a brush, a marker, or a piece of clay—can open the door to the peace you’ve been searching for.

No matter where you are in your healing journey, you deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. Let’s create that space together.

Support Emotional Wellbeing

Art therapy offers a unique, non-verbal way to support emotional wellbeing. Through creative expression, you can explore feelings, make sense of emotions, and discover healthier ways to cope. No art skills needed—just space to breathe, reflect, and grow. Over time, you may notice more clarity, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself. It’s gentle, empowering, and truly transformative.

Assist in Processing Grief

Art therapy offers a gentle way to move through grief, sorrow, and the emotional weight of life’s curveballs—including medical diagnoses. Whether it’s the initial shock, the uncertainty that follows, or the quiet ache of adjusting, creative expression gives you a safe space to process. It’s not about fixing—it’s about expressing what words can’t, feeling more grounded, and finding calm in the chaos.

Support Trauma Processing

Art therapy offers a safe, non-verbal way to process trauma—without needing to explain or relive painful experiences. Through colour, texture, and movement, you can gently express what’s been too overwhelming to say. This creative process helps untangle buried emotions, offering space to release, reflect, and reconnect with your story. It’s not about perfection—it’s about presence. And in that presence, honouring the self begins.

Things to Consider

Is Art Therapy at Home Suitable for You?

Are you facing challenges such as emotional dysregulation, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, or self-sabotage?

Perhaps you're struggling to cope with an illness or trauma, or simply want to delve into your emotions while fostering a growth mindset.

Maybe you have a child who is struggling to cope with big emotions, dealing with bullying or other life challenges.

If so, Mobile Art Therapy is exactly what you need to unlock your potential and embrace positive change.

When Art Therapy at Home May Not Be Suitable for You

There are limitations to what an Art Therapy Practitioner can offer.

At Starlah Rose, we understand that navigating mental health concerns can be challenging, and we are here to support you. However, it is important to note that we are not equipped to diagnose or treat clinical mental health disorders.

If you have received a diagnosis or are seeking one, we encourage you to reach out to your GP for a referral to a qualified clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. These professionals have the training and resources to provide you with the specialised care you deserve.

Your well-being is our priority, and we want to ensure you receive the best possible support.

A Few Art Activities to Explore

Paint & Draw

Art therapy embraces all kinds of creative practices—but often, the simplest ones like drawing and painting are the most powerful. With access to materials like canvas, paper, and watercolours or pastels, you’re free to explore emotions without needing words. There’s no right or wrong—just a safe space to express, reflect, and reconnect. As you create, you’ll be gently guided to uncover thoughts and feelings, opening the door to clarity, insight, and a deeper sense of calm.

Freeform

Freeform scribbling might seem simple, but it’s a powerful way to calm your nervous system and reconnect with yourself. With no rules or structure, it invites emotional release and gentle relaxation. The repetitive motion can feel meditative—quieting anxious thoughts and shifting your focus from inner chaos to creative calm. It’s not about making perfect art—it’s about making space for your breath, your emotions, and a soft return to self.

Mindful Mandala

Mindful mandala-making is more than art—it’s a calming ritual that helps you slow down, breathe, and reconnect. As you draw or colour, the repetitive patterns ease stress and invite inner peace. Each shape and colour becomes a mirror, gently guiding self-reflection and emotional clarity. Adding mandalas to your routine can be a beautiful way to support mental well-being and nurture personal growth—one mindful moment at a time

The examples provided are only a small selection of art therapy activities we can explore to help you process your emotions. Together, we will identify the best options to foster a resilient growth mindset, encouraging you to view challenges as opportunities for personal growth and development.

Group sessions & workshops available upon request (4-12)

You provide the space; we provide the rest.

2-3-hour sessions are set around your chosen theme.

Sessions can be entirely art-focused or include an additional component of hypnotherapy.

For example, Money block themes involve the first part of the session, where you create texture art on canvas by laying down all your money blocks. As that dries, a hypnotherapy session is conducted to release the money blocks, followed by finishing the canvas with fluid art to let the money 'flow'.

Pricing varies based on group size and session duration. For example, a 3-hour art therapy and hypnotherapy workshop may be priced at $127 per person, including all materials.

Shorter sessions, such as a 2-hour art therapy only experience, are typically $87 per person, also inclusive of materials.

Feel free to reach out—I'd love to chat about how we can tailor the experience to suit your needs.

Disclaimer: All prices listed are subject to change without prior notice. While we strive to keep our pricing accurate and up to date, adjustments may occur due to changes in materials, services, or operational costs. We appreciate your understanding and recommend confirming current rates at the time of booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers

We know that starting something new can bring up questions. Here are some of the most common questions we get asked about art therapy and how it can help you

Do I need to be ‘good’ at art to do art therapy?

No experience is required! Art therapy is all about self-expression, not skill.

How do I know if art therapy is right for me?

If you’re seeking a creative way to process emotions and release stress, art therapy can be a great fit!

How many sessions will I need?

That all depends on you and your needs. There are no set schedules or timeframes when it comes to your personal needs and goals. You set when and how often you want to have a session.

Do I need to have my own supplies?

Suzana, our art therapy practitioner, brings the basic art supplies you will need to explore your emotions with. However, if you have a more elaborate art project in mind, then you may need to supply your own materials. It is a good idea to have a set of art materials at home to do some 'homework' with.

Can I use a MHCP for your services?

Unfortunately, art therapy practitioner services are not covered by MHCP. However, we keep our prices low to help minimize your out-of-pocket expenses, making them comparable to those of services that charge full price.

What qualifications does your Art Therapy Practitioner have?

Our Art Therapy Practitioner, Suzana, is registered with AHPRA for her nursing (RN) and with IICT for her Diploma in Art Therapy. She also has a Trauma-Informed Certificate for Coaches. She has both PI and PL insurance through IICT
