Step 1: Identify the Issue

To begin, you’ll need to be clear about a specific issue or emotion you’d like to address. This could be anything from stress and anxiety to a physical symptom or a limiting belief.



Step 2: Rate the Intensity

On a scale of 0-10, rate the intensity of the issue you’re experiencing. This will help you track your progress as you tap.



Step 3: Create a Setup Statement

Create a ‘setup statement’ that acknowledges the issue you’re facing while affirming your self-acceptance and willingness to change. For example, “Even though I feel anxious about…insert an issue…I deeply and completely accept myself.’



Step 4: Tap on the Acupressure Points

Generally using the index and middle fingers of your dominant hand, tap on the following acupressure points while repeating your setup statement.

· Top of head

· Eyebrow

· Side of the eye

· Under the eye

· Under the nose

· On the chin

· On the collarbone

· Under the arm

· Karate chop point on the side
of the hand

Step 5: Repeat and Reflect
